COZENS personnel was founded in November of 1984 by Ladragh A. COZENS and was based in the Johannesburg CBD. COZENS is the largest privately owned consultancy in South Africa. The aim was never to operate the largest consultancy in South Africa, but to "Simply remain the Best". Through client demand, COZENS has enjoyed a steady growth. COZENS Casuals was founded in 1985. The Sandton Branch opened in 1986 and was subsequently followed by Oakdene, Midrand, Cape Town and then Rosebank. A second Western Cape branch was established in the Bellville/Tygervalley area to cope with the growing demand. The executive division was established in 1993 and the Technical Services Division in 1995. The Cozens Head Office opened in November 1997. COZENS provides employment for approximately 4000 people on an ongoing basis.
